Police continue search for stolen items

Police are currently investigating a reported theft of various items from sales trucks owned by Brydens Stokes located at Barbarees Hill, St Michael.

The items were stolen sometime between Friday, August 3, and Saturday August 4, and consisted of:

• a large quantity of Hennessy brandy,

• several cartoons of Embassy, Benson & Hedges and Paul Mall cigarettes,

• a quantity of Monster drinks, and

• a total value of ninety six thousand $96 000.

The public is asked to be observant of anyone offering these types of items for sale. Potential purchasers should make sure that the vendors are legitimate. The public is reminded it is an offence to handle stolen property.

Police have launched an appeal to anyone who may have knowledge or any information pertaining to this matter to contact the Criminal Investigations Department at Black Rock Police Station at 417-7500, 417-7501 or 417-7502. (PR)
