Classes at the Samuel Jackman Prescod Institute of Technology have been disrupted this morning as some teachers have walked off the job.

Few details are available at the moment, but preliminary investigations revealed that around 9 a.m., several teachers halted teaching over a long-standing unresolved issue with the school’s management.

As a result, students are currently out of class as officials from the National Union of Public workers engage in meetings with management.

More details as they come to hand. (AD)
