UPDATE: Body found in well

Emergency officials from the Barbados Defence Force, the Barbados Fire Service and the Royal Barbados Police Force are on the scene at Cottage, St George investigating the discovery of a man’s body in a well.

Circumstances were fuzzy up to 9 p.m. but meters away from where the discovery was made, was a car without a bumper, which a number of people who gathered in the area said was driven by the unidentified man.

The car was said to have been on the spot for most of the day.

To assist with the recovery efforts, extra lights were transported to the scene. (TG)
