SOCIAL SCENE: Youth improve speaking skills

They mesmerised their mentors with their eloquent presentations and the eight young City of Bridgetown Credit Union interns graduating from a Bridgetown Toastmasters course in speech craft last week, were equally effusive in their expression of appreciation for the experience.

After the formalities of the graduation ceremony were over, the eager young men and women let their hair down, evoking smiles all around, while mingling with the Toastmasters who had coached them, COB executives and staff who had guided them during the internship period, and others who contributed to the eight-week experience.
