Barbados could use some of that rain brought by Tropical Storm Kirk.

And with a drought pending, Barbados Water Authority general manager Keithroy Halliday said the water prohibition first announced on March 1, 2016 could be reinforced.

Halliday spoke to the NATION at the Department of Emergency Management headquarters during the passage of Tropical Storm Kirk and explaind the prohibition was technically still in effect on Thursday.
