Fourth Colombian remanded

The fourth Colombian netted in a raid in Nelson Street appeared in court today.

Maria Theresa Machina, 25, who was sporting a bandage on her neck and had to be assisted into court by a female police officer and an attorney, was charged with but was not required to plead to assaulting Immigration Officer Carlisle Murray on November 13.

She was remanded to prison but ordered to receive immediate medical attention.

She will appear at the District ‘C’ St Matthias Court on Tuesday. (HLE)
