Talma’s book making waves in Hawaii
Brian “De Action” Talma’s autobiography, The Last Of The Bronze Class, has taken off in Hawaii.
He recently completed what he refers to as his most successful tour when he left Barbados to promote his autobiographical account, which tells of his experiences up to this point while carrying the banner for beach culture.
“I was ready to test the market and I took it to Maui, Hawaii, which is the centre for all action water sports; wind surfing, kite surfing and paddle surfing. To take the book there and to present it to my [current sponsors] Nash International was great,” he told NATIONSPORT.
“For the book I put everything on the line and they loved it. I wrote a book which went through race and other touchy matters. I put everything at the edge and they said they loved the book. What I said in this book, which is very original, explains what I experienced in the golden years of wind surfing.” (RG)
