Stranded
Fifteen Haitians are stranded in Barbados with nowhere to live and no money to get back home.
The men, between the ages of 21 and 36, were rescued from the streets by Pastor David Durant of Restoration Ministries, in the wee hours of Friday morning, after they were evicted by a landlord for non-payment of rent.
Durant is appealing to corporate Barbados to assist the men with accommodation and money to get back to Haiti.
He told THE NATION that the men were staying at a house in Brittons Hill, St Michael, but the landlord said they had not paid rent and he could no longer keep them. (MB)
