Man shot in thigh

A young man was shot tonight while at Wanstead Gardens, St James.

Acting public relations officer of The Royal Barbados Police Station Sergeant Michael Blackman said the young man was injured in his thigh.

The incident occurred about 8:10 p.m. and the victim was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by ambulance.

Investigations are continuing. (AC)
