Around 7:25 p.m. tonight police responded to a report of a shooting at Niles Road, Waterfall Land, St Michael.
On arrival police discovered that 25-year-old Chad Gittens of Jubilee Gap Eagle Hall, St Michael received a gunshot wound to his upper thigh.
He was transported to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by private vehicle.
