BARBADIANS CANNOT AFFORD to let the country be overtaken by a very small percentage of misguided people engaging in deviant behaviour.
So says Minister of Home Affairs Edmund Hinkson, who emphasised the need for national security and law and order in the fight against illegal drugs and gun violence, as he noted the inextricable link between drug abuse and crime.
He was speaking at yesterday’s National Council on Substance Abuse Drug Awareness Month service held at First Baptist Church, Constitution Road, The City.

Shaquille Toppin, a 24-year-old tattoo artist, died after being shot 16 times just outside his St Michael home last Tuesday night and Ronald Raheim Rudder who was gunned down on Friday night outside a house in Ridgeway, The Pine.
