Hurt by secret wedding

Dear Christine

Dear Christine, I was friends with a guy for two years.

Things were not going as smoothly as we would like and we ended the relationship eight months ago.

Since then we have met each other casually on a few occasions. We joked about getting back together and I told him “maybe”.

Imagine my surprise three weeks ago, when I heard the news that he had gotten married. Apparently, during the time we were an item, he was seeing another woman.

Christine, I feel hurt and betrayed. I want so much to hide myself away and cry. My friends are surprised that he got married so soon after we broke up. They say I should confront him and let him know exactly how I feel about what he did to me.

Do you think it is a good idea to tell him off, or should I remain casual friends with him?

– Hurting Deep Down Inside Dear Hurting Deep Down Inside, If you’re angry, it’s going to affect you, not him. What’s done is done.

Nothing you say or do will change the fact that he cheated on you and that he is now married.

Learn from the lesson. I know you’re hurting and I also know you probably will have difficulty trusting someone again, as you trusted this man. However, don’t allow that to stop you from loving again. Just be cautious the next time around.

Whether or not you speak to him again is a decision only you can make. I am sure there’s nothing wrong in saying “Hi”, “Good morning” or “Good night”.

In other words, take the high road and let karma do its job.

Need help with a wheel chair

Dear Christine, I am writing an appeal on behalf of a man in his early 40s who has been diagnosed with Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) which is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and the spinal cord.

I am asking for some assistance in sourcing a second-hand wheelchair, especially one that can facilitate him during his use of the bathroom.

I am praying and thanking you and your readers for a positive response.

– Ms MBB. Dear Ms MBB, God bless you also!

People who are interested in helping can call 430-5550 and leave their contact information. I hope to share some good news with you shortly.
