Roadworks update

MINISTRY DEPOTS St James

Construction of a new tenantry road in King Village has begun. Improvements to the slipper and kerb at Dracaenia Avenue are soon to be completed, as well as repairs and replacement of manholes along Highway 1 from Road View to Prospect. Repairs to slipper and kerb at Risk Road have been completed.

St Thomas

A box drain and footpaths in Cane Garden, opposite Lester Vaughan School, have been completed. Excavation for construction of a well in the area will start shortly. Repairs to a headwall and widening of the corner at Jack-in-the-Box Gully have resumed. Preparation work for a box drain and footpath at Porey Spring has begun.

Workmen continue construction of a slipper and kerb in Melverton.

St John

Work continues in Palmers where a broken culvert is being fixed. Phase 2 of the road reconstruction project at Haynes Hill continues.

St George Christ Church

Extensive roadworks continue in the Rose Hill to Kendal Hill area between 8:30 a.m. and 3.30 pm. Monday to Friday.
