Police identify man killed in Clevedale shooting

Around 7:45 last night police responded to an anonymous report of a shooting in Clevedale, Black Rock, St Michael.

On arrival, police saw a man who reported that he was shot in his right leg by an unknown man. He was attended to by EMT personnel.

Police were also made aware of the body of a man who was pronounced dead at the scene and was identified as Lester Holder, 47, of Grazettes, St Michael.

Police are asking anyone who may have any information that can assist in investigations to contact Black Rock Police Station at 417-7500, police emergency at 211, Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TIPS (8477) or any Police Station. Information will be treated in the strictest of confidence. (PR)
