‘Country’ sentenced to 12 months

A man who was already serving a prison sentence, decided to change his plea today.

O’Brian Fernando Knight, also known as Country, of Lovell Road, Messiah Street, St John, pleaded guilty to stealing 38 Palmers products, including lotions and shampoos, valued at $768, from No. 1 Beauty Supply last December 17.

Knight, asked Magistrate Kristie Cuffy-Sargeant to be lenient with him, as he is currently serving a sentence, when he reappeared before her in the District “A” Magistrates’ Court earlier.

He was sentenced to 12 months in jail to run consecutive to any term of imprisonment currently being served. (RA)
