One minute Edward ‘Chucky’ Chase was venting to his neighbours.

Less than ten minutes later, he was dead – Barbados’ 19th murder for the year.

The harrowing sound of him taking his last breath is something that will haunt neighbour and close friend Tamisha Wilkinson for the rest of her life.

Chase, 34, died on the spot at Gall Hill main road in Christ Church, after being involved in an altercation with another man in the area of Lower Crescent, a stone’s throw away from his home. His body lay under the shade of an almond tree.

He reportedly received multiple stabs about the body. Police reported a young male suspect was assisting with investigations. (DB)
