Suspect in custody in connection with shooting at Sheraton

Police currently have a suspect in custody assisting them with the brazen shooting this afternoon at Sheraton Centre.

Speaking to the media in a brief interview a few moments ago, Police Commissioner Tyrone Griffith assured the public they were on top of things and were doing all they could to bring the situation under control.

Griffith also said that the deceased was known to the police and was out on bail for serious criminal matters.

The man, who has not been named by police, was shot and killed at Sheraton Centre in Sargeant’s Village, Christ Church, earlier today. (DB)
