Andre Boadu scored a game-high 17 points as defending champions Barbados Lumber Company Lakers beat Combined Schools Tridents 75-69 in the Co-operators General Insurance BABA Premier League Tuesday night at the Wildey Gymnasium.
The game amounted to what could be considered a keenly contested match-up, going down to the wire in the last quarter.
The final score didn’t reflect the first half of the game as the Tridents had a four-point lead going into the break.
The first quarter was a battle, as Tridents held a slim 16-13 lead that saw Deroni Hurley dominate his team with speed and athleticism. (TRY)
