Foetus discovered in St Michael

While collecting garbage along Bishop’s Court Hill, St Michael just after 8 this morning, a Sanitation Service Authority (SSA) team discovered a human foetus.

The team alerted the management of the authority and the police.

When a NATION team arrived on the scene, police had the area cornered off and officials from the SSA including public relations officer Carl “Alff” Padmore, and acting general manager Janice Jones, were present.

Around 10:30 police medical officer Dr Andrew Murray arrived on the scene.

Investigations are ongoing. (SB)
