Broad Street to soon reopen

The Barbados Water Authority (BWA) has completed work on a six-inch burst main which closed forced the closure of The City’s main road today.

Marketing officer Yvette Harris-Griffith said the repairs were finished and they were completing the back fill.

Broad Street is expected to reopen around 7 p.m.

Traffic had slowed to a crawl earlier this evening and police were diverting vehicles at the junction with Prince William Henry Street.  (SAT)
