Kyriq laid to rest
Relatives and friends of the late Kyriq Boyce bade a find farewell to the 17-year-old today.
His funeral, which took place at the Collymore Rock Church of the Nazarene, had a blue and white theme. Many of the mourners were dressed in the colours and some wore T-Shirts with the words “Long Live Planet”, the youth’s nickname.
Boyce met his end after falling into a 100-foot well near his home in The Pine, St Michael, on July 4. He was pronounced dead at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital that same day.
He was described as “young, handsome and full of life”; he loved to dress well and smell sweet.
In the sermon, Reverend Dario Richards told the congregation to look to Jesus in their time of grief, as only He had the answers.
The interment took place at Coral Ridge Memorial Gardens. (CA)
