The mother of Oneal Chase, the latest victim of gun violence, said her son was not involved in an altercation with anyone when he got shot in the head on Thursday night.

Alicia Chase, who contacted THE NATION yesterday, said the police report which indicated that her 25-year-old son was shot during an altercation with another man was not true.

She said her first born ran to his nearby house and was able to tell his brother who shot him before he collapsed. (News Desk)
