When Nathalie Nicole Smith graduated from Howard University, she knew that struggling through life with mountainous student loans totalling US $150 000, was not what she wanted for herself.

So she set out on a quest to create the life she wanted and that she has.

“When I graduated I became an entrepreneur. It was hard like anything else in life. I knew I needed to earn more money. I was overweight, I was unhealthy, I was working really hard,” she explained.

Then she stumbled across a green packet of tea called “Laso tea”. That changed her life in every aspect forever, she said.

“When I saw the little green packet of tea it literally changed my life. It helped me to be able to pay off my student loans, I was able to help my family, restore my health, lose more than 20 pounds and generally feel better all round,” she explained.

She now lives by the mantra, “success doesn’t happen by chance, it happens by change.”

Today, she is a bestselling author, success coach and influencer.

Nathalie, who was raised in Maryland but currently resides in Washington DC, spent the last week in Barbados seeking to empower women to get up and go after what they want and to take their health and wealth more seriously. (DB)
