Wrong road!
THE LEADERS of two political parties have blasted the way in which the Mia Mottley administration is going about addressing the squatting issue at Rock Hall, St Philip.
At the same time, the parliamentary representative for the area has made a plea to both those living illegally there who have vowed not to move, and to Barbadians calling for the structures to be bulldozed.
Democratic Labour Party (DLP) leader Verla De Peiza charged yesterday that the ruling Barbados Labour Party (BLP) was supporting squatters in their illegality by offering them grants and loans.
And founder of Solutions Barbados Grenville Phillips II is questioning where the money to offer grants and loans was coming from, stressing that taxpayers should not have to suffer an expense of no cause of their own. (SB/TG)
