Stevenson’s late penalty gives Barbados a draw

Barbados snatched a point in their first match of the Concacaf Under 17 Women’s Championship qualifers with a 1-1 draw againt Belize last night at the Wildey 
Turf.

The visitors took the lead in the 54thminute thanks to header from Jeselle Conorque. However, a late penalty scored by Asha Stevenson ten minutes from time ensured the points were shared.

 Barbados will play St Kitts and Nevis tomorrow night in Group C. (AGB)
