Power out in some areas
As Tropical Storm Dorian approaches some parts of Barbados are without power.
According to a post on the Barbados Light and Power Company Limited’s facebook page some Barbadians in St Philip, St Andrew, St Thomas, St Lucy, St Michael, St Joseph and St John are experiencing outages.
The areas include Sunbury, Church Village, Dodds, Massiah Street, Bayfield, Congo Road, Groves, Beulah, Union, Ruby, Wellhouse, Bel Air, Crane, Harry Smith, Merricks, Long Bay. Marchfield, Apple Hall, Coles Terrace, Atlantic Park Spring Farm, Duke’s, Farmer’s, Mount Wilton, Content. Fort George Heights Strathclyde, St. Michael Pickwick Gap, St. Michael ,Bathsheba, St. Joseph. Pie Corner, St Lucy.
“Our crews are working to identify the cause if the fault and safely restore power as soon as possible,” the power company said.
