Two remanded on firearm, ammo charges

Two men who were facing a number of firearm and possession charges have been remanded to HMP Dodds.

Thirty-four-year-old Darien Frederick Lester Bailey of Lot 206 Sweet Pea Drive, South Ridge, Christ Church appeared in District ‘B’ Magistrates Court today, before Magistrate Laurie Anne Smith-Bovell.

Bailey was not required to plead to the charges of possession of a firearm without a valid licence, and possession of ammunition.

He is scheduled to reappear in the same court on Tuesday, September 24.

Romeldo Ricardo Mayers, 20, of Block 3D Pleasant Hall, St Matthias, Christ Church appeared before Magistrate Graveney Bannister in District ‘A’ Traffic Court yesterday.

He was not required to plead to the charges of possession of a firearm without a valid licence, and possession of ammunition, and was remanded to HMP Dodds. He will reappear in court on Monday, September 23. (PR)
