Police probing stabbing at Mount Tenantry

A 39-year-old man is in critical condition at the Queen Elizabth Hosptial following a stabbing at Mount Tenantry, St George last night.

Police say the victim, Shawn Hunte of Upper Brighton, St George was liming in the area around 10:00p.m. when he was confronted by another man. An argument ensued which escalated into an altercation and during this altercation; the victim was stabbed in the neck and chest and collapsed.

Lawmen reported, the victim was transported to the Q.E.H via ambulance and a male suspect is currently in police custody assisting with investigations.
