Cricket legends like Desmond Haynes, Gordon Greenidge, Sir Wes Hall and Sir Charles Griffith will reap substantial financial benefits on image rights from video games used by CAGE, the largest route operator of video lottery and video gaming terminals in the Caribbean.
Barbados Cricket Association (BCA) president Conde Riley told THE NATION that the Legends will get rights from their images used in cricket games.
CAGE will make a presentation today to Cricket Legends of Barbados Inc.
“This will bring in considerable revenue for the legends for using their images. It should be a major revenue for the legends, and that can only be a good thing,” he said. (MK)
