Barbados beat Cayman to gain CONCACAF promotion

Barbados have been promoted to league B of the CONCACAF Nations League.

On a night where parts of the island were still in darkness, the Wildey Turf was lit up as the Tridents delivered a 3-0 victory over Cayman Islands in a must-win game.

Hallam Hope opened the scoring for the hosts in the 32nd minute. Armando Lashley netted in the 86th and Hope grabbed his second a minute from time.

Barbados advanced to the next stage of the competition at the summit of Group A, League C with 12 points. (AGB)
