UPDATE: Police identify murder victim #44

Thirty-nine-year-old Ken McDonald Yearwood of River Bay, St Lucy died after being shot in the head police said.

Police public relations officer Inspector (ag) Rodney Inniss confirmed that the man was shot around 12:55 p.m. He was pronounced dead by medical personnel at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital. 

This incident brings the tally of murders for the year to 44.
