UPDATE: Man shot and killed

Police are at the scene of a reported shooting incident which occurred about 11:30 pm yesterday.

It resulted in the death of 27-year-old Rondell Alexander of 1st Avenue Gills Gap, Black Rock, St Michael. The shooting was originally reported to be in nearby Eagle Hall.

A group of men were reportedly liming at a shop called “Twerks Bar”, which is located in the same district, when an unknown assailant fired several gunshots and ran off.

Alexander fell and was pronounced dead on the spot. There are no other reported injuries.

This is the 48th murder for the year. Investigations are continuing.  (PR/SAT)
