Seven people injured in early morning accident

Seven people were injured in an accident around 3 a.m. today at Tweedside Road, St Michael.

A car driven by 62-year-old Michael Derrick Collymore of Baywoods, St. James collided with a shop Eagle Nest Sports Bar & Grill.

Police said some of the more serious injuries ranged from a head injury to a partially severed leg. The injured were transported to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital for medical attention.

Investigations are continuing.
