Christmas plans shot to pieces

Christmas Eve was supposed to be a night of coming together for a group of friends in a St Michael community.

Instead, they found themselves scampering for their lives when two gunmen opened fire at Perfection Road, Bush Hall.

The country’s latest shooting incident took place on a block where Lennox Hoyte, 23, of that community, and Kaspien Mayers, 41, of Cave Hill, also in St Michael, limed.

They were approached by the gunmen, who wore black hoodies. After the shots were fired, the men ran away and left both Mayers and Hoyte nursing multiple injuries about the body. They were transported to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH) by ambulance. (TG)
