Four injured in shooting incidents last night
Four men were shot in three separate incidents last night.
Two men sustained injuries at Church Village, St Philip, an 89-year-old was shot at Paddock Road, St Michael and another man was also shot at St Judes, St George.
Police say they received a report of a shooting at Cotton House Club in Church Village around 9:25 p.m.
On arrival, they discovered Virgil Glenroy Harewood alias ‘Glen’ of Sargeants Street, St John, lying on the ground with multiple gunshot injuries. He was transported to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH) by ambulance.
A second victim, Jamal Ricardo Barrow, 33, of Cox Hill, St Philip, was shot in the left knee. He was taken to the QEH by car.
Meanwhile, 89-year-old Aldolphus Boyce of Paddock Road was also shot in the left leg.
Some men who were liming in the area were reportedly playing with a firearm when it accidentally went off. Boyce was injured as he passed by. He was transported to the QEH by the police as no ambulance was available at that time.
Thirty-three-year-old Rolston Dawson of St Judes was shot around 8:30 p.m.
He was at home eating when he heard loud explosions and realised afterwards that he had been shot multiple times about his body. He was transported to the QEH by car.
