Police are on the scene at Colleton Tenantry, St John investigating the shooting death of a young man from Gall Hill in the same parish.
Friends said the man was Rasheed Howell, a mechanic.
Police report they received a call around 8:56 a.m. that a man was lying motionless in Colleton. Upon investigation, they discovered the body with bullet wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
