In order to facilitate the continuation of the demolition work associated with the Bridgetown Transformation Project, road marking for the traffic changes will commence on Thursday from 7 p.m.

Traffic changes will now be in effect from 6 a.m. on Friday.

Previously, a notice was issued indicating that the changes would be in effect from tomorrow, however, due to technical difficulties, further compounded by the inclement weather, the date was changed.

The public will be fully updated over the next 24 hours in terms of the specific changes and are therefore encouraged to keep abreast via the Barbados Government Information Service, the Bridgetown Transformation Project social media pages and other credible news agencies.

Members of the Royal Barbados Police Force will also be assisting with the direction of traffic for the first few days.

The Barbados Tourism Investment Inc. thanks the public for its cooperation and understanding and apologises for any inconvenience caused. (PR)
