He only gave two men some articles of clothing and a mask, but he had no idea they were going to rob a salesman.

Patrick O’Neal Moore said he thought the men were going to roba drug man, but since the watchman was just as guilty as the thief, he would have to take fully responsibility for his actions.

Moore, 49, of River Land, St Philip, was in the No. 2 Supreme Court where he pleaded guilty to robbing salesman Erskine Hinds of two cases of cigarettes, three cheques and $120, belonging to Brydens Stokes Ltd, on December 5, 2017.

Stressing that he cooperated with police, Moore told the court: “I told the truth and I didn’t went and actually commit the robbery. (HLE)
