Barbados Pride headed to Guyana last night boosted by the presence of West Indies Test captain Jason Holder and premier fast bowler Kemar Roach.

Speaking to NATIONSPORT late yesterday while on board a Caribbean Airways flight to Georgetown, head coach Emmerson Trotman said he was quietly confident the national side would do well in the top of the table clash with five-time defending champions Guyana Jaguars, which starts Thursday in Providence.

“It is a big game and that is our big focus. We have to perform. The loss in Trinidad and Tobago was disappointing. We should have done better.

“Trinidad utilised the conditions better than we did, but we have to put that behind us,” Trotman said. (MK)
