Bulls mop floor with Warriors
Defending champions Burger King Clapham Bulls continued their unbeaten run in the Cooperators General Insurance BABA premier league, while their opponents Barbados Hilton Resort Warriors maintained their winless free fall when the action continued on Tuesday night at the Wildey Gymnasium.
The best team in the league, Bulls, moved their record to 10-0, while the worst, Warriors, stumbled to 0-10 with the Bulls trampling the Warriors 78-53.
With Warriors turning up with just five players, the Bulls seized the advantage from the first two quarters in spite of affording big man Akeem Marsh an unusual amount of rest.
The Bulls rushed to 21-8 and 42-22 leads in the opening quarters. (KB)
