Big changes are on the way for the Ronald Mapp Highway, including six new roundabouts and traffic lights at Westmoreland.

However, there is no start date for when these changes will occur.

The proposals were made on Monday during a town hall meeting at St Thomas Parish Church.

The proposers were members of the Canada-based IBI Group and local company DLN Consultants Inc. in conjunction with the Ministry of Transport and Works.

The new roundabouts are proposed to be placed at Mile and a Quarter; The Whim/Four Hill; Hayman’s/Black Bess; Molyneux Road; Mangrove Road and Portvale factory. (CA)
