CARIFTA games postponed

The CARIFTA Games set for the Easter weekend have fallen victim to the novel coronavirus. (Covid-19).

The Caribbean’s most prestigious junior track and field meet, which was scheduled to held in Bermuda this year, has been postponed.

Word of this from the Bermuda National Athletics Association as the virus spreads across the world.

Several other sports events have been also put on hold. A total of 24 Barbadian athletes qualified for the games. (AGB)
