Work on the buildings at Harrison’s Point, St Lucy, which will house the quarantine and isolation centre for Covid-19, is progressing smoothly and Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley says it should be completed within another three weeks.

Mottley visited the site this evening with Attorney General Dale Marshall and Project Manager Joseph Steinbok.  At the end of the two-hour tour, she expressed satisfaction at what she had seen.

“Once Harrison’s Point finishes in another three weeks or so, we would have another 56 isolation beds; just about 130 or 140 beds for quarantine; the appropriate accommodation for staff and facilities for storage to accommodate a full-fledge facility,” she said. (BGIS)
