Barbados Pride have been declared kings of regional four-day cricket for the 23rd time since the modern era of the championship in 1966.

This follows a unanimous decision of Cricket West Indies’ (CWI) board of directors to award the Headley/Weekes Trophy, symbol of supremacy in the West Indies Four-Day Championship (Four-Day) to Barbados Pride.

Acting upon the advice of the CWI Medical Advisory Committee, the board of directors made the decision to cancel the last two rounds of matches in the first-class season due to the COVID-19 pandemic during a teleconference yesterday afternoon.
