Stumps have been pulled on domestic cricket for three months.

While an initial suspension of all matches came into effect due to the threat of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), the Barbados Cricket Association (BCA) has now decided to put the covers on local cricket for 90 days.

It comes after the Mia Mottley-led Government moved into Stage 2 of its plan to curb the spread of the potentially fatal virus as the number of confirmed cases stands at 18.

Director of Cricket Steven Leslie told WeekendSport the governing body was not taking chances with COVID-19. (AGB)
