All Transport Board buses will only carry half of their capacity during Barbados’ 18-day curfew.

This is among the changes announced by the Board as the island continues stage 3 of the COVID-19 national response plan and a curfew goes into effect tonight.

Commuters will also have to make adjustments to the way they travel, as the first bus is now scheduled for 6:15 a.m. and the last bus at 7 p.m.

A public health emergency has been declared in Barbados and Government has implemented an 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. curfew from March 28 through April 14, 2020.

To date, the island has 26 confirmed cases of COVID-19. (SAT)
