One more confirmed case of COVID-19 in Barbados

The Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory reported one positive test for novel coronavirus (COVID-19) today. The new patient is an 82-year-old man whose case is being investigated.

This brings the national count to 67 – 33 men and 34 women. Eleven people have recovered and there have been four deaths. The number of perople in isolation remains at 52.

A statement from the Ministry of Health and Wellness said most patients remain in mild or stable condition.

Since testing for COVID-19 began in Barbados on February 11, 736 laboratory tests have been carried out. (BGIS)
