Linton gearing for season
Former double club champion driver Adrian Linton is looking forward to a good motoring season, whenever the all-clear for racing competition is given.
Linton, who captured the Barbados Rally Club (BRC) and the Motoring Club Barbados Incorporated’s (MBCI) driving titles in 2002, said the postponement of the season because of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, means he would be better prepared whenever the go-ahead was given.
“This COVID-19 has knocked everything for six. It was looking to be a really good year, with lots of R5 entries from both local as well as foreign competitors, and now all of these things have been put on hold,” he said.
He added that he would have missed the first two events of the season [anyway], as he was still getting the Ravensden/JAD Performance Vauxhall Astra VXR repaired. (TT)
