One of two brothers involved in a fight two weeks ago died on Monday night.

Jamon Lewis, 23, of Dukes Tenantry, St Thomas died at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital where he was in the intensive care unit after undergoing surgery.

Police said that Lewis and his brother, Jaron O’neal Dottin, 22, of the same address, were involved in a dispute at their home on March 25.

Lewis had bottles and rocks while Dottin had a piece of wood, and during the fight, Lewis was struck in the head.

Dottin was charged two days later with serious bodily harm of Lewis and was remanded.

Police spokesman acting Inspector Rodney Inniss said the police were now awaiting the outcome of a post mortem on Lewis. (AC)
