COVID-19 cases reach 75 in Barbados

Two more Barbadians tested positive for COVID-19 yesterday, out of a total of 38 tests carried out by the Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory.

There are a 76-year-old man and a 59-year-old woman, who both came into contact with a known case.

The total number of people who have tested positive for COVID-19 since March 16 is 75 – 38 females and 37 males.  Their ages range from seven to 95.

Five deaths have occurred and 15 persons have recovered and have been released from isolation.  There are 55 people currently in isolation.

 The number of tests done by the public health laboratory to date is 900. (BGIS)
